Bio

Abby Bollenbacher might look like the sweet girl-next-door, but don't be fooled.  Immediately upon moving to Los Angeles in 2008 she got right to work saving Hollywood from attacks by uncontrollable gorillas, blood thirsty sharks and some very Desperate Housewives!  As a guide on Universal Studios Hollywood's world famous backlot tour she has shared the magic of film-making with literally thousands of guests, starring on tram screens and gracing the pages of vacation photo albums from Kalamazoo to Tokyo.

This may have been overwhelming for most girls who grew up in rural Ohio with only five television stations, and no car, computer or cellphone until college, but Abby had preparation in the form of a spokesperson position called "The Face of FOX Toledo."  She became The Face after a multi-round American Idol style audition process, but it was very much a real job, from which she learned both the joys and challenges of filming hundreds of commercials and hosting community events.

That wasn't really much of a stretch either, having been a three-time National Champion in Forensics (Speech, Debate and Competitive Performance) while studying Theatre at Bowling Green State University.  She paid for college the way many young women do, by strapping on some four-inch acrylic stilettos and taking to the stage... in scholarship pageants!  Say what you will about them, but she earned over thirteen thousand dollars and learned how to deal with anyone with a smile, from sharks to gorillas!  Oh, and the mechanical animations on the backlot during her day job too.

In the past few years Abby has taken to the experiential marketing arena like a fish to water.  Her biggest splash has been with Volkswagen; she's been a narrator and product specialist for the auto giant from small town American auto shows to CES and the worlds largest automotive expo in Geneva Switzerland!
